OUR GUEST HOUSE is a country hideaway situated South of Johannesburg on the banks of the Klip River in the Vaal Triangle. Our location makes us the perfect retreat from the Johannesburg city centre. The fusion of our country gardens and luxury amenities makes Klip River Country Estate guest house an elegant yet charming home away from home. 

Our 10 tastefully decorated bedrooms include:  two honeymoon suites, four double bedded rooms, two twin bedded rooms, one family room (sleeps 3) and one family unit (sleeps 4). All our rooms have air-conditioning, a tea and coffee tray, wall panel heaters, fans, flat screen televisions with a guest house DSTV bouquet, spacious antique Imbuia closets, en-suite bathrooms, luxury bedding and towels and complimentary toiletries. Our café styled dining room is warm and cosy.

We always strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible.  We have a jungle gym for the kids, a swimming pool and a gym. We also boast with an onsite salon and spa with hairdressers, nail artists and a skin care professional.  We also offer child minding facilities by prior arrangement.

We cater for all types of stays – should you require a romantic break with the one you love, only a night’s stay when you’ve joined a wedding celebration at our venue or if your company is looking for a long stay agreement for contract workers working onsite in the area.  All guests are important, and we have special packages to suite your requirements, be it a family group staying for a wedding or contractors staying for a few weeks.

KLIP RIVER COUNTRY ESTATE is conveniently situated close to the Midvaal Raceway.  Stay with us for the next big event in the area whether it is for the Value Logistics Fast One Cycle Race, Motor, Bike or Drag racing.  Our guest house is also close to Dick Fourie stadium where the Cape Gate Vaal Marathon kicks off every March.  We pride ourselves in personalized service and serve breakfast at special times to accommodate our athletes and cyclist. 

• Check-in time is after 14h00 daily. Should an earlier check-in be required we would be happy to arrange this if we have the availability. Kindly advise our reservations office of an approximate time of arrival.
• Check-out time is before 10h00. A late check-out can be arranged where possible. Kindly check with our reservations office.
• A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance is payable on arrival.
• Should you wish to cancel your reservation, kindly notify us as soon as possible. Please contact us for our cancellation policy.
• All charges incurred during the stay are to be settled before departure.
• All rates include 15% VAT.
